Focuses on the governments allocation of resources among sectors of the population and how this may erode equality Examines Supreme Court doctrine dealing with the conferral of advantages Proposes a new test for official giving based on two littleused constitutional provisions the antinobility clauses and traces their history and applications Addresses the strengths and weakness of an antinobility approach and draws a connection between it and concerns over white privilege
