Abstract

In this chronicle Rodrigo speaks with his mentor a senior law professor about his thesis regarding Brown v Board of Education and Latinos Together they discuss how the outcome of the Supreme Court case benefited white selfinterests and modestly advanced black interests while creating a blackwhite binary of race offering little for nonblack minorities Their talk provides an analysis of Ian F Haney Lopezs book RACISM ON TRIAL THE CHICANO FIGHT FOR JUSTICE
