Abstract
Do you ever have the eerie feeling that farleft writers in the Critical Race Theory school and newage conservatives of color like Clarence Thomas and Shelby Steele are saying much the same thing This article points out how these two bodies of civil rights writing converge on a critique of liberalism and how this convergence accounts for the many parallels one finds there including discontent with affirmative action and distrust of big government
